HOW CAN WE GET MORE YOUNG PEOPLE INVOLVED? HOW DO WE BUILD STRONGER COMMUNITIES? AND HOW DO WE MAKE SURE OUR YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS ARE RERADY FOR THE CHALLENGES OF TOMORROW?
It requires the ability to adapt, innovate and focus on the organization’s core values to shape sustainable and resilient youth organizations.
At UNGETINGET 2026 , you’ll join a weekend of inspiration, collaboration, and new perspectives together with 100 young people from across the Nordic region.
Together, we will explore how to make our youth organizations more sustainable and resilient – while building stronger Nordic communities.
You'll become part of a Nordic youth network where you'll share experiences, develop new ideas, and gain practical tools you can apply in your own organization.
We’ll explore themes such as volunteer engagement, accessibility, democracy, preparedness, and ecological sustainability. Through exciting workshops, sessions, and social activities you’ll be able to approach the different themes from the point of view that feels the most relevant to your organization while building connections and lasting friendships with like-minded youth across the Nordic region.

SECURE YOUR SPOT
To participate, you must be between 18 and 30 years old and be active in a youth organization.
The application deadline is 30 August 2026 at 23:45.
After the application deadline, participants will be selected with the aim of creating a diverse group representing all of the Nordic countries.
By 30 September at the latest, you will be notified whether you have been offered a place at the seminar. After that, we will contact you to arrange the final details of your participation.

PRACTICAL DETAILS
The seminar will take place from Friday, 30 October at 17:15 until Sunday, 1 November at 15:30 at Hotel Nuuksio, Finland.
Address: 68 Naruportintie, 02860 Espoo.
We will cover your transportation, meals, and accommodation in connection with the seminar.
TRANSPORTATION
You can either book your own travel and be reimbursed for the costs afterwards, or we can arrange and purchase your travel for you. If possible, we prefer that you book your own transportation to and from the seminar.
If you book your own tickets, please consider the financial, climate, and environmental impact, stay within the allocated budget, and ensure your travel allows you to participate in the entire programme.
You must submit your travel reimbursement request by completing DUF's travel reimbursement form - Deadline 15th of november 2026.
ACCOMMODATION
Most participants will share a room with one or two other participants. As a general rule, rooms are allocated based on the gender indicated in the application form.

We would like to know if you have any special needs, for example regarding facilities or equipment (hearing aids, interpretation, mobility impairments, anxiety, etc.).
